Susan Santiago

Susan Santiago completed her undergraduate work at New York University where she received a bachelor's degree in Art History. She later moved to Woodstock, New York. While teaching art there, she enrolled in the Art Students' League, (now the Woodstock School of Art) and studied life drawing with Franklin Alexander. After enduring many cold winters there in upstate New York, she moved to Southern California and settled in Venice, then a bohemian enclave at the beach. She enrolled at California State University, Los Angeles, and received a Masters Degree in Fine Art. She eventually decided to forgo city life and moved to Topanga Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains. Susan taught art in the public schools and eventually became the...
